At the age of 28 I had profound spiritual experiences that have shaped my life in a big way. But life and its noise, its distractions, its ups and downs, gradually distanced me more and more from the spiritual reality and a spiritual orientated life. My music has always been a reflection of those experiences and insights, but it has also just been about just making music. In 2020 the Covid crisis sort of re-awakened me to the power of who I really am, who we really are and also it showed me the forces that try to keep us from realising our true nature. Forces that try to keep us small and controllable. Lyrics became increasingly important to me, a way to express something more meaningful than just describing the usual, mundane life experiences. My last two albums “Into The Light” and Divine Orchestration, are a more direct reflection of my spiritual life than the previous ones.
